The Centre is designed as a modern educational and scientific-practical platform. It will serve as a hub for professional training, upskilling of energy specialists, applied research, and hands-on learning. By combining theoretical instruction with laboratory work and practical experience, the Centre aims to equip a new generation of professionals with the skills required to support the transition to renewable energy systems—not only in Kyrgyzstan but across Central Asia.

More than an institutional achievement, the launch of the Centre represents a long-term investment in people, knowledge, and sustainable solutions. It responds to a growing demand for qualified specialists in the renewable energy sector and contributes to strengthening national capacity in addressing energy and climate challenges.

This initiative would not have been possible without the support of key partners. We extend our sincere gratitude to SolarSpar for their essential contribution to the renovation and equipping of the Centre. We also acknowledge the valuable support of the Ville de Genève, the Commune d'Onex, and the Ville de Meyrin, whose contributions have been instrumental in advancing the broader solar energy project.

The inauguration of the Renewable Energy Research and Training Centre is not simply the opening of a new space. It is the beginning of a long-term effort to build expertise, foster innovation, and support a greener and more resilient future.
